Triduum at Glastonbury

 

The times of the Latin Triduum are at the bottom of the notice. These are the pre-1955 rites in accordance with our Benedictine Office.

Masses in Bath from 10th April 2021

We are pleased to inform you that from Saturday 10th April (Easter Saturday) Father Rupert Allen will be celebrating a weekly Low Mass at St. John’s, Bath (Saint John the Evangelist, S Parade, Bath BA2 4AF) every Saturday at 12:30pm, with confessions from 12noon. Canon Christopher Whitehead has invited Fr Allen to say this Mass each week, after the success of the monthly Masses which sadly were unable to take place during the lockdown. 

Please do attend/promote this Mass, especially in Easter week – Saint John’s is a very fine church, just near the station, and is associated with St. John Henry Newman (the lady altar where Fr Allen will say the Mass was also used by him).

The Sacred Triduum

 

Just to say that although mothing much has been posted for a while, Holy Mass still continues. 

In Glastonbury the Easter Ceremonies will be celebrated.

Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and the Easter Vigil will be on their respective days at 8.30am. This will be the pre-1955 rite, in accordance with our Offices.
