First Mass at Bristol Catholic Chaplaincy

The first of the new regular weekly Traditional Latin Masses at Bristol University Catholic Chaplaincy took place today. Father Rupert Allen celebrated a beautiful Low Mass for the Feast of the Most Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

We would like to extend our thanks to Fr Allen, and to His Excellency Bishop Declan Lang, for bringing the Mass according to the Traditional Roman Rite back to Bristol after a hiatus of sixteen months. Approximately 24 people were at the first Mass, including some who had not attended this form of the Mass in the last 40-50 years.

Mass at the Chaplaincy will continue every Sunday at 12:30pm, unless otherwise announced. All are welcome to attend.
